Newsletter - my story: why did I start teaching public speaking?
Hello everyone I wanted to tell you a little about my professional roots: when I first spoke in front of an audience, how I started teaching it, stories like that. Because of the workshop for storytellers of course. This week we start the advanced course, one of the workshops in which you will learn how to tell a story. And remember, stories are not just a red riding hood. Even in a job interview, the question "Why did you leave your previous job" requires a story, and it should be convincing (Workshop for storytellers). The workshop is part of the advanced course, and the advanced course is a lesson I learned from following students and graduates - I discovered that those who practice and speak maintain their self-confidence and skills, and those who do not speak lose them. I have also discovered that those who have neglected their skills and lost them sometimes feel that this loss is complete and that they will not be able to get them back. This is where the lesson comes in: it turns out that even a workshop or two gives people back most of the fitness they had at the end of the first course, and the four workshops of the course upgrade them even beyond (More about the advanced course for standing in front of an audience). So come and do something for yourself this month - treat yourself to a course that is both experiential and enriching.
- on sale for the new year Don't give up on yourself in 2011 either. Take the initiative and come learn how to speak in front of an audience. Hundreds of graduates will testify that anyone can.
