Reinforcement: learn to practice in front of an audience and face questions in a speech
Come practice performing in front of an audience and learn how to manage questions from the audience
After the May cycle finished with fascinating presentations, we are now concentrating on the July cycle and approaching the August cycle. The July class reaches the middle of the course: this week they will learn and practice how to manage questions and interruptions from the audience. And the August class is starting to arrive at first meetings for introductions and self-introduction.!
Learn with the mentors how to deal with questions from the audience
Our instructors will work with the July cohort on turning questions from the audience from a problem to an opportunity. They will introduce them to the techniques they will learn in the next class and practice the 'Golden Rule' with them and methods to eliminate crowd fear with the help of questions.
Instruction for tutors: Their practice will already be at a higher level of difficulty. They will need to master structure techniques and the examples from the first lessons.
Personal mentoring and introduction: practicing self-presentation in front of an audience for the new students
The August class is approaching and some of its students will start arriving to gain experience and acquire skills. They will learn and practice the basics: self-presentation, eliminating symptoms, speech structure, etc.
They will also practice these techniques several times: at first 1-on-1, then in a small group and finally (whoever wants) in front of an audience. They will of course not be perfect or close to it, but the first step is an experience that each of us remembers and will become a formative experience in the process of their improvement.
Instruction for tutors: Lots of empathy and a slow process. It is important to listen to each of them and understand what their difficulties are - among other things because it is important that each of them listens to the others and realizes that they are not alone!.
