A recommendation from a computer engineer who overcame a severe fear of crowds
Olga, a computer engineer in one of the defense industries, took a public speaking and performance course with us in the February 2016 cycle, and overcame a very acute fear of audiences.
And on Olga's recommendation, her mother-in-law also enrolled in the course that we gave to Chabadnik women in Rehovot, and her mother-in-law was also really, really successful.
It is very worthwhile to read her story, it can teach us that everything is possible!
We are filled with pride to read this:
"I wanted to share with you another huge progress for me.
If in our previous correspondence here I was excited to tell you that I spoke Hebrew for fifteen minutes in front of a class of 15 students, today I stepped up and gave a business presentation for 3 hours (!) in English (!) in front of my colleagues, the boss, the CEO and most importantly a potential investor.
Not only did I have to explain about all our projects, but I also had to really "sell" the company and speak enthusiastically about the projects, something that was always difficult for me because I was very quiet and too fast in front of an audience.
However, I left feeling really good and my bosses showered me with compliments.
I didn't understand how this task fell on me, who hates presentations and audiences, but not only that running away from the task was no longer an option for me, because I learned in your course that I can, but I also managed to deal with it on the best side and gained more confidence for the next time 🙂
So thanks again! I wouldn't have gotten there without your guidance."
If you or you identify with the story and are also interested in making a change that will leave you speechless, join us at the public speaking school and together we will form a group that conquers fear!
