Israel's international standing in the world is deteriorating, and this is precisely at a time when we are not doing anything particularly monstrous (at least since cast lead). One of the regular culprits in such cases is the Israeli propaganda abroad, which is always considered clumsy, unprofessional and underfunded. Almost always when the issue comes up for discussion, every Israeli believes he has the magic solutions, and it's time to collect them and examine them with a creative but critical eye.

the topics of discussion:

Assignment 1: to improve Israeli advocacy?
In this round, each participant will present his position in a 5-minute speech/presentation

Is there a lack of budget?
Are the Israeli explainers not talented enough?
Is the problem at all with the policy and the captains?

Assignment 2: Group speechesHow we look from the outside?”
In this assignment, the participants will be divided into groups and each group will present a proposal to improve Israeli advocacy

Teach the ambassadors rhetoric
Start explaining on Facebook
Stop flattering the foreign networks
start considering human rights in our policies

Purpose:
As part of the discussion, each participant will get two opportunities to present their positions and justify them. We will emphasize the use of rhetorical tools, creating interest (not so difficult, considering the topic) and avoiding arguments.

preparation:
As part of the evening, there will be discussions for those with and without knowledge in the field. Special support will be given to those with no experience in speaking and those suffering fromcrowd anxiety. Those interested are advised to keep up to date with articles on the subject

Participation fee: 100 NIS for speakers free to the scouts

The discussion will take place at the public speaking school at 153 Bialik St. in Ramat Gan (in the diamond exchange area). Directions to the public hearing.
