The public speaking school founded by Guy Yariv develops and imparts public speaking skills in Hebrew and English. Our mentoring project is a win-win magic where students receive guidance and alumni get another opportunity to practice and learn. One of the best ways to learn something is to teach it. We invite our alumni to advance to their next level as they mentor and guide new students. Each of our students is invited to come to a mentor meeting every Sunday, sit 1-on-1 with a mentor and go over any material and technique they want help with. The mentor also practices the student and gives them feedback. After that, all the students and all the mentors gather together for a group practice in front of a 'real' audience. At the end of the course, each student receives an invitation to a mentor workshop, free of charge, after which they too will be able to mentor and guide the next cohort. Debate

Debate is an exciting 'intellectual sport' that challenges opposing sides to argue for and against a controversial issue.
Debate is usually a team game, where each team is assigned a 'pro' or 'con' side, and is then given a proposal (the topic of the debate) and preparation time before setting out speeches presenting each side. Come learn to speak and persuade on any topic and with any level of preparation time!

Public speaking is essential to our success in every area of life: work, studies, the military, family, but public speaking is almost as difficult as it is important... So many skills are involved in performing properly in front of people: correct phrasing, correct use of body language, building strong arguments, the ability to prepare, the ability to improvise (when the preparation didn't work...) and so on. Public speaking is the art of conveying messages to an audience in an interesting and convincing way that achieves results. Unlike a 1-on-1 conversation, public speaking is a monologue and requires proper preparation and professionalism.
