Come sit down with Guy and plan how to break through to your next level
The end of the course is really not the end of the road.
In the worst case, you can neglect what you did and lose a lot of tools and abilities.
In contrast, in the best case, the course is just the beginning and you can make a lot more progress.
Come sit down with Guy and mentors and students and build a self-improvement plan based on the course you completed, the debate club, other school activities and your career. We will go one by one over everyone who comes and make him level up.
First step: set ambitions. Where did you stop and where do you need the next progress?
In the first step we will look for what is not working well enough and you want to upgrade: we will map the opportunities you have and how much you are taking advantage of or avoiding, we will also map the opportunities you wish you had - and we will check what are the barriers on the way.?
Do you want to strengthen your impression? Be more creative when you're on stage? Learn to turn on the audience? Strengthen your sense of humor?
Let's sit together and look for the things that need to be improved.
Step Two: Map out the tools that will achieve this progress
Every problem has a solution, you just have to find it. Guy will sit down with each of you and show you the ways to make the progress you wanted - whether these are new positions and challenges to take on in the debate club or other activities at work, in studies or at our school - we will define together with you how to achieve them.
Step three: build an action plan and start working
Here you have to build your practice and performance plan, put it in the diary and commit to it to the group. This way we can know that it is not just dreams and ideas but a process with a beginning, and an end, and with goals to meet.
Fourth step: at the end of the evening, check results against the feedback, correct, and get going
Tonight's debate will serve as an initial test for the plan we have built. How do Guy's new highlights make you improve your strengths and fix your weaknesses? How can this process be used in the weeks and months ahead?
At the end of the battle, everyone will be able to show Guy how the plan worked, receive some corrections - and build a plan further
