Today's lesson comes after the first two lessons in the course. public speaking” in which we learned the basics: how to organize our thoughts and words (especially under pressure) and how to develop our ideas on stage in an interesting and clear way. It wasn't easy, but at this point every student already sees an improvement in results even if only half of them feel an improvement in feeling so far. In this class, everyone will already feel an improvement in feeling.
In today's lesson we will learn how to handle questions from the audience, an extremely important topic both for success in speech and persuasion, and for overcoming stage fright.
What we see today is that many think of questions and interruptions as the scariest thing about speaking in front of an audience. They are wrong. Questions that are managed correctly can make audience fear disappear - not decrease or at least, but really disappear.
Today we will learn two simple techniques that ensure that our student does not get stuck in a blackout after lesson three, and that questions to which we do not know the answer cease to be a threat and begin to be an opportunity (for dialogue with the audience, for example. or to prove our sincerity)
And the catch?
The catch is that in order to succeed you need to know the techniques we learned in the first and second lessons.
