Lecture summary - differential tuition
This speech was presented as part of the 2nd session of the discussion that dealt with proposals to improve higher education by Mani Ben Israel - an economist. In my opinion, differential tuition fees should be introduced - this means that students of socioeconomic status, according to their and their parents' income test - those who come from a high status will pay very high tuition fees. The middle class will pay average tuition, and the poor will pay negative tuition, meaning they will receive an allowance. The poor need more help
There is a moral reasoning here that anyone who wants is entitled to study. With this method, anyone who wants will get it and it didn't depend on their financial situation when they entered school. He will also give it back to the company when he graduates and starts studying. This will also reduce the feeling of deprivation among the lower strata. Review
