JosephI want to talk to you about leadership - what it means to me, and about the lack of leadership in Israel. What is leadership? To me, to be a leader who is an example and a source of inspiration. I will give examples - for example as the child of the parents, in the classroom it is the teacher, and in the army it is the commander. And if my leader has a chastity problem he cannot be an inspiration. In my eyes, his leadership is disqualified. If he has purity of character, who transmits to me 'nice demands - nice fulfills', this is leadership for me. Now we will talk about the lack of leadership in Israel For a long time now, it has been seen in the public debate that no one like Begin or Ben Gurion has stood up. And so all the issues you discussed just now of crime and capital rule confirm that there is no leader who will tell them to stop, who will not bury his hand in the plate. I will give an example - my aunt is a senior police officer, and some time ago there was a story of police officers who cooperated with criminals. When the senior officers see leaders at the top of the pyramid stealing they see them as a negative image. Register now for the public discussion |
