The debate club allows all those who want to learn, engage and practice the art of debate, even outside of academic institutions. Debate clubs exist all over the world, and allow those involved in them to learn about the theory of speech and persuasion in a practical way. The importance of the method taught in the debate club lies in the actual improvement of the students' abilities with the help of practical practice of the skills and methods taught. No more only theoretical learning of rhetorical and persuasive skills, not only learning the principles of speech, but their practical application, every week, in a variety of topics, while dealing with time pressure, real-time questions and reactions from the audience.
This practical exercise is accompanied by personal feedback given to each student by the instructor in a personal way so that he can maximize his abilities. In this way, beginners and experienced speakers alike can apply the tools learned, and improve from session to session.
The meeting format
Each session will last three hours. The first half hour will be devoted for enrichment classes, and the remaining two and a half hours will be devoted to debate training.
After each debate, personal feedback will be given by the instructor.
