Advocacy without goals is a waste of ammunition
How to build a persuasive strategy - for advocacy as well as for private life - that will suit your audience
Advocacy without goals is not really advocacy. Coming up with 'my story' or 'my truth' is certainly an important thing, but both can create a life-changing effect or fade away in an instant without leaving a trace. Everything depends on the goal, and depends on the situation.
And the goal, of course, also depends on the situation. Each audience has a message that can be conveyed, possible values convince, and achievable goals. When we ask an audience for impossible things, or present a message that is absurd to that audience, we lose before we even started.
In this video, from my lecture at Ariel University On the topic of advocacy and persuasion, I explain this strategy and give tips and techniques for persuasion that can be used by you in your private and business life as well!
